This happened to me too!! I was with my mom to unload the cart of groceries, and I was putting the water I side the trunk. But then suddenly the trunk was closing and I had to duck out, but my mom got the trunk before it closed. Turns out we found out that if your keys are close the trunk, and you put your foot under a sensor, it will close your trunk automatically. Definitely watch out!!

The reason is that the newer cars now have sensors under the car so it opens and closes for you but they should add a sensor for the trunk not to close on you!

It’s because the sensor underneath the back of the car gets triggered when you or your son’s leg passes that sensor, that is actually a function the salesman prolly got u to tick off on!
